The Rally Interlude

"Greatness Comes From Small Beginnings"

Sometimes your purpose finds you before you find it.

My Childhood

When I was 12

When I lived in the Bronx I was always told that I was a bright kid. I never knew what that meant but I knew I always loved making new friends. Now if I told my younger self that I created a platform to empower others, I would be surprised.

Why not?

Use my Voice

Fast forward, I started taking my mental health serious. I realized the people around me were only a reflection of myself, and I wasn't perfect but something needed to change. Helping people has been my passion yet overextending myself isnt good for me. I started The Rally Cry podcast in 2022 with my best friend and the rest became history.

I challenged myself

Left for 10 Days

Throughout the ups and downs I decided to sign up for a silent retreat to challenge myself. No books, no electronics, just me. It was tough to be in my own thoughts, I cried, I gained clarity, and most of all I gained peace.

Bigger than me

I Created Enough Said

Even with the podcast I knew the people needed more than just that. Eventually the idea came to me to create a communication card game. I came across a pitch contest at EforAll where I then was awarded for first place.

Took the Pivot

I Graduated

I ended up double majoring from project management to Psychology and then pursued my Masters in Social Work. I became the first in my family to receive my Masters. Although college has taught be the foundations, I also learned to cultivate my own path to wellness.

Bigger than Me

Moving forward I find myself innovating more angles to address wellness. Wither thats through a public speaking, community organizing, or having a conversation. Overall, the sky is not our limit, it's our point of view.
